Welcome to Stitch Inn Works fiber arts studio.
Maria Williams works as a Designer specializing in fiber arts. Her work is published in Chic Knits by Krause Publications featuring 25 handknitting projects using multiple yarns within the project. She was the owner/ teacher of Stitch Inn yarn shop in Lahaska, PA 2000-2007, and L.C. Needlecraft yarn and needlepoint shop in Delray Beach, FL 1994-1998. Inspired by a family of knitters in rural Finland, Maria began her knitting journey at age 4. Her work is an ongoing experiment of yarns, fibers, stitches, and tools. She has been awarded the prestigious Best of Bucks/Mont award in 2004, 2005, 2006 for best knitting store. Today Maria is working as an independent designer writing patterns for the handknitting community as well as developing exclusive ready-to-wear for special clients.
